Today’s entry is focused on buildings. The images are just meant to be quick shots of buildings as seen as one is hastily moving along the street. There is always so much to see and it is hard to take it all in.

Another big point in building-watching (some people watch birds, I watch buildings) is how light affects what you see at any given time. These images were taken in mid-December just after 12:00 noon and the sun was pretty much directly downward facing.

I hope you enjoy this quick stroll through the Flatiron District of Manhattan.

A favorite. There is just something cozy and wonderful about this building on the southwest corner of 23rd and 5th Ave.
